As you may know scams are a huge problem in today’s society, taking significant amounts of money from innocent people. I have seen several scams in my life, specifically I'd like to talk about scams that happen at my place of work. Every single day, at least one time, we receive a call saying "Hello this is Door dash support calling about a problem with an order" every time I hear this now, I just hang up the phone, but when I was new, I always thought it was real, so I can see how someone may be tricked by it. The reason I know it is a scam is because when Door dash actually has a problem with an order, they call our owner not our store, also the scammers usually ask for the name of the last order that went out, while the real Door dash already knows the name on the order. These people call the store in hopes of tricking an employee into giving them the customers information and even credit card numbers. This scam is very good and definitely works sometimes, so make sure you confirm it is Door dash by asking for the name of the order, if they cannot supply it, then it is a scam.
